Brewing Ginger & Co's latte and chai blends is super easy. Just follow the simple, step-by-step guide below!

 

LATTE & CHAI POWDER

Scoop 2.5g (about 1 teaspoon) of latte/chai powder into a cup. Add a splash of hot/ boiled water and stir the mixture into a paste (best with a matcha whisk or mini whisk). Make sure to break down any clumps. For stronger flavour and aroma, leave the mixture to steep for 2-3 minutes. 

Our latte and chai taste great with a bit of honey or natural sweeteners like coconut sugar. Add ½-1 teaspoon of honey (or your preferred sweetener) to the paste followed by 1 cup (200ml) of heated milk and stir to mix well. Tip 1: soy milk is perfect with all our blends while dairy milk is not recommended as we find it too creamy and overpowering. Tip 2: honey is amazing with our Golden Latte as it really elevates the flavour and aroma. Tip 3: we really like coconut sugar (or mild flavour sweeteners) with our Sleep Latte as it doesn't overpower the subtle lavender note of the latte.

Steep the latte for 3-5 minutes before drinking. This will allow the powder to settle and the flavours & aromas to come out fully. Enjoy! (Tip: avoid drinking the powder that settled at the bottom of the cup!)

STICKY CHAI

Scoop 10g (1 heaped tablespoon) of sticky chai into a small pot. Add just enough water to cover the chai and bring to simmer. Simmer for 3-5 minutes (or more for stronger brew) and be careful not to boil, stirring regularly. Tip: for extra zing, add a pinch of grated fresh ginger!

Add 1 cup (200ml) of milk to the pot (we recommend soy) and continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.

Strain the chai into a cup and add more honey or your preferred sweetener as you'd like. Enjoy!
