How are we in May already? This year is flying by and if you’re anything like me then your New Year’s good eating resolutions have fallen to the wayside with all the recent public holidays popping up left, right and centre!
This easy little recipe made with Ginger & Co's premium Japanese Matcha Powder is bound to bring you back on track and add some extra nutrients and antioxidants into your life. It can seriously be sprinkled on everything! My favourite? On top of avo in a bowl with a kale salad and all your favourite nourish bowl bits, or used to load up your beloved smashed avo toast, or to top off a soup for a bit of that crunch factor.
½ cup of nuts (we like hazelnuts, macadamias and almonds)
2.5 Tbsp of sesame seeds
1 Tbsp coriander seeds
1 Tbsp cumin seeds
1 tsp of Ginger & Co Matcha Powder
½ tsp of good quality salt
½ tsp ground pepper
Toast the whole nuts in a pan until they’re starting to smell nice, add the sesame seeds and toast for another minute or so (being sure not to burn them).
Add the toasted nuts & sesame seeds and the rest of the ingredients to a food processor and pulse until everything is broken down to a coarse consistency (not too long as we don’t want it to end up as a dip!)
Store in a jar in the pantry
Sprinkle on everything and enjoy!
